June 20th, 2009

June 20th is going to be a siginificant date again. =)

In less than a month from now, my flatmates Ivy, Karen, and Pauline (we are going to miss you Arthur!) and I are moving to our new place in Simei. Yayyy!!! It's a beautifully furnished house I'd be excited to go home to after a long day's work. My favorite things about the new house is that it's close (walking distance) to the MRT, the rooms are coloured purple <3, and the kitchen walls are painted bright yellloooow. I'll post the pics after we've moved in.

I appreciate God's sense of humour. Of all dates, our moving into this new house happens to be June 20th. It's like I've come full circle from the day He decided to impart a very important lesson to me. He had to really break me into a million gazillion pieces so that I would 'get it'. He had to take away the things, or well, the person, I anchored all my hopes and dreams in to make me realize that He should be my anchor and He should be my rock instead.

But God is so good, because He takes away, yet He restores after we've learned the lesson He wants to teach us. Anyway, now there are two less lonely people in the world =) However, if this is taken away from me again, I shall not fret so much nor want to die, because I've learned to put my full trust and hope in Jesus rather than in imperfect human beings who can fail us even though they don't mean to. Life would still go on, and truly, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

So anyway, new house, new life. I feel alive again. Cheers.
